A goat. Monday morning at the edge of the Alps, I needed something to do, so I talked to a nice lady at the national park info center who gave me a good suggestion for a bike trip. I rented a mountain bike and was off. First I needed to bike a few kilometers along a main road to get to the right park enterence. The road had no shoulders, so when I had the option of a dirt "sidewalk" I took it. Then it veared off from the road and started going up. But it still looked public. But it kept going up. And up. And up. Still, the cars were close, just a few hundred feet down through the trees. I continued and eventually it flattened out and opened up -- into someone's back yard. I went along out their driveway -- it was a B&B apparently -- then onto the country road, still paralleling the main road. It was here I found these goats.
