Exercise: Stories in a classroom discussion

• Lead a class modeled after normal conversation and see how stories emerge in that context.
• Lead a discussion afterward about what people noticed in the interaction. Where was the center of attention during the conversation? How long or short did people talk? What sorts of topics came up? Was there collaborative storytelling? How did topics shift and morph into different topics?
