Review of "From Out of Nowhere, Part I"

In this episode, it was very interesting to see old enemies (i.e. Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, King Mondo, Queen Machina, and many others) again, along with some new ones at the beginning of this episode where evil space aliens are meeting at the Cemerian planet to celebrate Dark Spectre's capturing of Zordon. What makes the opening scenes really interesting is that one of the monsters (the one wearing a cape) is really Andros, the red Lightstar Ranger, spying on the meeting in disguise. The action immediately following his discovery is really worth watching.

Although I felt weird watching the red Lightstar Ranger attack the powerless Rangers from earth after he returned to his Astro Megaship, such an attack is appropriate and expected. What do you expect when Andros isn't expecting company, has just been chased by some evil Quantrons, and suddenly comes face-to face with 4 unfamiliar humans and 1 robot.

Even though there appeared to be a few inconsistencies in this episode, they really did not affect the quality of the episode as a whole. Overall, this premiere episode of "Power Rangers in Space" is definitely worth watching, especially for fans of the Power Rangers.

In a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best, I would probably give this episode a rating of 5.
