Review of "Save our Ship"

At the beginning of this episode, we see T.J. & Ashley in morphed mode training in the "SimuDeck" by fighting a few space aliens created by the machine. Use of this equipment is definitely a great way for the Rangers to stay sharp when they are not in battle. When the Rangers get to Earth with the space shuttle, we see that the Angel Grove Gym & Juice Bar has been replaced by the Surf Spot. The new owner of this place is Adelle, a very nice African American lady.

In this episode, Andros was pretty funny. He touched a surfboard & the surfboard fell! Also, I was laughing so hard when Andros used his telekinesis skill to pour hot sauce into Bulk's milkshake & when Bulk drank the shake with the hot sauce in it. When Bulk & Skull go off to see a professor to report their sighting of an UFO, I thought that professor was a quack or something. He certainly looked like a quack. And how could he answer Bulk & Skull through a mailbox? And he almost ran them over with his vehicle!

After the Rangers pick up supplies that they need from an electronics shop, Andros found out that Quantrons were following them. The ensuing unmorphed fight was very well choregraphed. After the Rangers beat the heck out of the Quantrons, they morphed, and ran towards the shuttle, only to see Ecliptor stand in their way. This fight was also worth watching, although Andros got beaten up a bit.

When I first watched PRiS, I thought Saban wasn't going to use the Megaranger footage where NASADA blew up, but I guess he found a place for it in this PRiS ep. The footage of NASADA blowing up was very graphic. After the Rangers narrowly escape being blown up, & the shuttle rejoined the Astro Megaship, the Astro Megazord was formed, and the Rangers defeat Ecliptor, although it took some effort.

After Andros agrees to teach Ashley the art of telekinesis in exchange for pool lessons on board the Astro Megaship, the evil Astronema orders Elgar to use a beam to get the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles out of the sewers of New York City. Not surprisingly, the Turtles knew something bad was about to happen. Indeed, this very last scene of "Save our Ship" is a great foreshadowing of what will happen in the following episode, which I am very sure will be very exciting as we'll actually get to watch the Ninja Turtles battle the Space Rangers. In fact, I would definitely consider the next episode to be a "must see."
