This episode was an interesting one, since Astronema, Ecliptor, and the other major evil space aliens were not featured in this episode. Instead, the Craterites from the Simudeck somehow became real and escaped to Earth when T.J. & Ashley attempted to train while the Megaship was passing through an electrical storm, which caused the SimuDeck to malfunction.
I have to agree with other PR fans on alt.fan.power-rangers that this episode seems to parallel the Megaranger version a bit too much. However, I liked the fight scenes, and the fact that the only enemies in this episode were unintentionally created when D.E.C.A. malfunctioned in the electrical storm is something new.
Overall, on a scale of 1 to 5, I'll give this episode a 3.
