Predators built a 3-goal lead at one point during the game.
Predators knocked Sabres goaltender Dominik Hasek out of the game after
just 1 period.

Predators remain unbeaten on the road this season.
LOWLIGHTS:
The Predators' Bob Boughner was called for an illegal stick in the 3rd
period at the same time that the Predators' Dan Keczmer was penalized for
cross-checking.
Buffalo then proceeded to score 2 goals that were 55 seconds apart,
including a power play goal against the Predators.
Predators made only 2 shots on goal in the 3rd period.
COMMENTS: Overall, the Predators played very well in the first 2
periods. The Predators could have played a lot better in the 3rd period,
though. First, there was Boughner's mental error in regards to his illegal
stick that helped lead to a 2-man advantage for Buffalo, which Buffalo
capitalized on. Also, the Predators generated little offense in the 3rd
period, getting outshot by Buffalo 14-2 in that period alone. But Mike Dunham
made some big saves & stopped 28 of Buffalo's 31 shots as the Predators hung
on for a 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres.
