We spent about 15 minutes fleshing out roles and ideas. As none of us are particularly artistic, we agreed to try and follow a simple, clean design for the game (think Dots). This fits nicely with finite state-machines. The roles we decided on (with some degree of flexibility, especially over the course of the project):
Eoin Nugent: Project Manager/Organizer (may also dabble in the arts)
Bryan Trujillo: UI designer/frameworks and storyboard-creator
Ethan Kenny: code monkey/Software Imagineer
John Shaughnessy: code monkey/Apple Genius
