Editing MmcAthenaeum
Unlike CalTech's Athenaeum (an exclusive club for profs), the Ath on CMC is open to all students. Give them your meal card number (http://www.mckenna.edu/mmca) a couple of days in advance, and you get a tasty dinner with some sort of after-dinner speaker. The most important thing to know about the Ath is the Ath Code. The Ath Code is a function which maps from the orientation of your coffee cup and saucer relative to the table and each other to the after-dinner hot beverage you will recieve. Current known elements of the Ath Code domain (with corresponding beverages): * Cup right-side up, saucer on top of cup: hot chocolate. * Cup right-side up, on top of saucer: coffee. * Cup sideways, on top of saucer: tea * Cup upside-down, on top of saucer: nothing The existance of other valid configurations is hypothesized, but not confirmed. * Couldn't this simply be determined experimentally? As in, get a bunch of people to try a bunch of configurations, and see what each gets?
