Editing SleepDepAddict
A club for all those who find they get far too little sleep far too often (see SleepDep). Characteristics include poor balance, lack of co-ordination, falling asleep at random points in the day, being extremely hyper, and bags under eyes. SleepDep is also often associated with an addiction to all things caffeinated, though not always. If you view this page and believe you are an addict, add your name: ---- * BridgetLewis * DanCicio ''(I was tempted to wait until some ungodly hour of the morning, but then I might not be second)'' * MicahSmukler * EvilSouthie manages to both get at least 8 hours of sleep each night and still be sleep depped. * JulieWortman * AvaniGadani saw this page, and thought she'd just say hi. She doesn't really belong on this list. ''And if you believe that, I have this nice bridge in Brooklyn you might be interested in.'' *NickJohnson ''who isnt too sleepdepped right now, but only because i have little reason to be... wait till next year.'' *SeleneTan whose only caffeine source is chocolate (and not in large enough doses for staying-awake purposes), so there! Not that she needs the chocolate to stay awake. Wake up in the morning to find my roomate still awake? Utter lies. I don't know what you're talking about. The real question is what would happen if we did have enough chocolate to stay awake. *worried*. Strangely, I almost wonder if this could (in a twisted or outrageous fashion) fall under the category of ThingsYouDontWantToHearYourRoommateSay along with 'why don't we see if the room will hold water so we can have an indoor wading pond'. I feel compelled at this point to point out that my roomate has a button that says something like 'Dawn is a signal that it's time to go bed.' --KL ** Just watch out with that chocolate, about 15 kg of bittersweet chocolate is the LD50, based on caffeine content. *** Caffeine? ITYM theobromine. --AndrewFarmer *TimeSuck (various numbers here) * ChrisErickson * JonathanBeall * ArthurHall * SuiteInsomnia ** HeatherJustice (who's been told far too many times already by upperclassmen to get some sleep... who also can fall asleep with a bright desk lamp shining directly in her eyes) *** Has also managed to set a personal record of staying awake 36 hours without much difficulty, but isn't sure there will ever be a convenient situation for attempting to stay awake much longer than that, though who knows... ** NancyEisenmenger (who rotated her schedule at least three times in a row during dead week and finals week frosh year) ** LindsayTice (lives the 12-hours-a-day, 14-days-a-week schedule) ** SarahFletcher (lived in SuiteInsomnia, what more can I say?) * JasonWinerip (Wish I'd found this page sooner, I had the lounge force me back to my room to sleep frosh year. I don't track records, but 48 hours is probably a low estimate) * MatthewWodrich (Sleeper on many couches, and former resident of the L that never slept, and more specifically the Quad that never slept. Relishes four hours of sleep in a week night during the school year, and undergoes sleep dep voluntarily during the summer.) *DanCiliske Doesn't feel like sleeping much, thus doesn't sleep much. *BenJones Personal Record: 78 hours (accomplished on four hours of sleep ahead of time following a 26 hour run). *XandaSchofield is fond of sleep unless it happens to be nighttime. *JoshOratz really only sleeps 4-5 nights a week. That's up from the 2-3 during first semester freshman year, at least.
