YokoKanno is a music composer (and occasional performer) whose incredibly eclectic soundtracks somehow manage not only to blend perfectly with the AnimE she works with, but makes it a gazillion times better. If there's anyone out there who feels otherwise, feel free to post something objective. Seriously, though, how many artists can flow seamlessly from blues to (accompanied) spoken word to African chant to waltz in the same episode? She's awesome.
