iotta

SNIA IOTTA Trace Repository

The SNIA IOTTA Trace Repository is a Web site that contains over 20 TB of scientific data related to computer storage systems, mirrored at three locations around the world. Researchers use the data from this site to evaluate and understand how computer storage operates in the real world. Over 550 papers have been published using data downloaded from the site. This project is about maintaining and enhancing the Web site.

I worked with the Ruby on Rails Web-development framework concentrated on usability issues to add features, such as searchbox, and fix problems. I also helped to locate, prepare, and post new data that has been collected in recent research projects.

breeezy

Breeezy

We built breeezy to encourage everyone to go outside more, build and nurture communities, and simplify logistics and increase sustainability. Our goal is to do everything we can to make it easier for people to go outside, from college students and new grads to parents and children. Maps, weather, and AI integrations make it easy to discover and host outdoor activities, and we hope to have everyone feeling a bit more breeze. Collaborated with David Chen, Rohan, Kishore.

climbing hold

Climbing Hold Type Detection

The project proposes to develop a neural network-based system for the classification of climbing holds, aiming to distinguish between various types such as Crimp, Jugs, Pinch, Sloper, and Pocket. However, there is a limited number of labeled data for each hold. To address the challenge of limited labeled data, we implemented the MixMatch algorithm, a semi-supervised learning approach that utilizes both labeled and unlabeled data, thus improving the model’s performance and reliability. Collaborated with Maxine Liu, Ian Li, Eric Chen.

into me

Are They Into Me?

This is an AI Text Analyst to help you determine if it's flirting or friendzone. We trained the classification model in Cohere and we select the dataset from movie scripts. Then, we used Next.Js, TypeScript and TailwindCSS to build out our front end. The app is mostly on a single page, and we came up with some fun animations to keep the user engaged. The backend was written in Python and Flask. We tied in Cohere's and OpenAIs APIs into our own REST API so that we could serve our front end well. Collaborated with Kerria Pang Naylor, Arjun Taneja.

Quivers from Non‐orientable Surfaces

Associated a quiver to a quasi-triangulation of a non-orientable marked surface. Defined a notion of quiver mutation. Proved the unistructurality of the quasi-cluster algebra arising from the Mobius strip.
