Java is always on in HotJava. Here's how to enable Java in Netscape 3, Netscape 4, and Internet Explorer 3/4.

• In Netscape 3,
  1. Go to the Options menu.
  2. Choose Network Preferences.
  3. Click on the Languages tab.
  4. Select Enable Java.
• In Netscape 4
  1. Go to the Edit menu.
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Click on Advanced
  4. Selected Enable Java
• In Internet Explorer 3 or 4 for Windows
  1. Go to the View menu.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Click on the Security tab.
  4. Check Enable Java Programs.
• In Internet Explorer 3 or 4 for MacOS
  1. Click on the Preferences button in the Tool bar or select Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Click on Java in the scroll bar.
  3. Check Enable Java.
  4. Select Host Access or Unrestricted Access from the Network Access pop-up.
