Sun Harbour Apartments
Here are some pictures taken in and around my new apartment:
Outside the complex. That warning sign isn't kidding, there's a really steep hill farther down the road.
The entrance to Sun Harbour Apartments!
The apartments are all on top of the garages down below.
What Southern California apartment complex would be complete without some palm trees?
Ooh, lens flare. This is the sidewalk going toward my apartment. I'm the one way on the end.
Way back in the corner...
View from the door
Apartment 142! (Door mat: IKEA)
Looking back at the door from the kitchen, you can see the TV.
Here's my chair and sofabed. P.S. Thanks for the lamp, Liz :-)
The coffee table has been unanimously decreed to be a "Jetsons" coffee table.
Couch-potato-cam view (TV stand: IKEA)
Hooray for IKEA furniture! Though it took forever to assemble.
Notice the awesome cookbook on top of the fridge. (glass, cutting boards: IKEA)
Couple days ago the florescent light actually fell off the ceiling and landed on the sink. They had just screwed it into drywall with regular screws! Now they've fastened it more securely.
Yay for dishwashers!
Yup, it's a closet.
Yup, it's a bathroom.
Walkway to the bedroom.
The bed is kinda tall. Seems like all you can buy at mattress stores these days is tall beds. Makes the nightstand (IKEA of course) look tiny.
The fan is my only air conditioning. It's kinda loud, but sets up a nice breeze through the apartment. (Dresser: IKEA)
Window view. Nothing too special. The ocean's about three miles out thataway, though.
