My feelings about this place are mixed. A lot of the people pretty much suck. Too many are hard-core engineers attending college purely for the meaningless piece of paper they hope to get after four years of drinking cheap alchohol, bitching about classes, and drinking more alcohol (to kill off the brain cells that might cause problems in the workplace) because, statistically, that piece of paper means they'll get more money at whatever job they choose to suffer through for the next 40 years before retiring at the age of 60 and finally being able to do what they want to -- probably drink more? A number of the people are also pretty cool, though more than a fair bit of the academic program is aimed towards the engineer junkies and burns the coolness out of the more idealistic students. A few of the professors are extremely bad, most of them are really good. At least one is absolutely amazing. You can get an education here, but you really have to go out of your way -- either taking a lot of extra courses or giving up on the whole graduation thing. Kind of silly when your paying $30,000 a year.
For now, that's a sufficient summary. Stay tuned though.
