STARLIGHT

Sunshine to starlight
the Twilight's dim veil
Once lively and active
now tired and frail

Dancing and Dreaming
down memory lane
Diamonds and Roses
the World's so insane

So fast, yet so lazy
it's spinning so crazy
So strong through the Glory
till the end of the Story

To pose ... the Reaction
standing so tall
She never believed
that her Kingdom would fall

To smile ... oh the Thrill
her memories: chill
The Spirit so worn
to the Roses last thorn

She gave up her Lover
and moved to the Stage
Now old and lonely
so deceited by Age

So the Last Petal wilts
as the years go by	(on the Rose so Red?)
She cries and cries	(And the Years slip by?)
she tries to try	(shadowed with Dread?)

She fades away
in the Mirror's face
The Rose, his Ring
and a Thread of Lace
