CMURoboBits Labs 0 and 1 (first pages are similar) primarly consist of the installation and setup of the OPEN-R and Tekkotsu development frameworks.

Process and Challenges

OPEN-R and Tekkotsu are two of the better behaved tools, in terms of their installation procedures. The majority of the work involved in getting these tools installed related to setting up other required packages on the system, as well as the system itself. These steps are details in the Set Up - Software section of this website.

Accomplishments

Installed and compiled OPEN-R and Tekkotsu.
Checked out Tekkotsu and OPEN-R code.
Played with the Tekkotsu GUI (ControllerGUI).
