Copying and pasting is a thing that Easties do where if someone says a funny quote, someone else can say, "Copy," in order to save that quote and then, "Paste," at a later time in order to make the person say the same thing again. If the same person says, "Copy," to the same person at a later time, the first quote gets overwritten, like how a computer clipboard can only store one thing at a time. However, each ordered tuple of people has a separate clipboard, so the second person can say, "Copy," to a third person without interfering the second person's ability to get the first person to paste the original quote.

Also, one can do a group copy, where one copies a brief discussion between two or more other people. This is a separate clipboard from one's clipboard with any of the individual participants of that discussion.

Copying and pasting is like the no-prank list in that you can refuse to paste/be copied, but then, you must also abstain from copying other people and getting them to paste.

The EastDormDiscord has a channel called #clipboard that is dedicated to this. People paste in copies (Anyone can do this, but typically, either the copier or the person who was copied does it.) so that they don't forget them by the time they want to paste.
