2/12/08: Watch is behaving normally, but hourly chime still won't turn off.

On the outside, it resembles an ordinary watch. However, this one gains random amounts of time for apparently no reason. Additionally, when I bought it, the alarm did not work, the day was always on Sunday, and it seemed to be permanently in military time. Good thing it usually gains time or I would have missed class a few times.

ColleenSullivan has decided to document its behavior:

1/21/08: Gained 1 hour overnight.

1/22/08: No changes.

1/23/08: Gained 35 minutes overnight (between 1 AM and 8 AM).

1/24/08: Gained 65 minutes overnight (between 2 AM and 10 AM).

1/25/08: Lost 35 minutes between 1 AM and 1:40 AM. Gained 7 hours and 48 minutes between 5 PM and 6 PM (!).

1/26/08: No time change, but no longer in military time.

Here I bought a new watch and ceased wearing the PossessedWatch. Since then, the watch is behaving normally (including advancing the day properly).

2/5/08: In the spirit of spam, began wearing the PossessedWatch again. Gained 20 minutes between 11 AM and 12:40 PM. Lost 2 hours and 25 minutes between 3 PM and 5 PM. Day is stuck on Sunday again.

2/6/08: Watch is behaving normally.

2/7/08: No time change, but at "noon" the day went backward from Monday to Sunday (the watch was 12 hours off at the time, due to my error resetting it). At midnight, it went back to Monday.

2/8/08: Lost 26 minutes between noon and 2:30 PM. Day also returned to Sunday. Again.

2/9/08: Watch is behaving normally.

2/10/08: Watch is behaving normally.

2/11/08: Day and time are working normally, but the hourly chime has turned on. I can't find a setting to turn it off.

2/12/08: Watch is behaving normally, but hourly chime still won't turn off.
