Is very, very fond of citing one of many practical examples from his past experience in the RealWorld. Has done a great number of things there, and apparently has seen a lot of stupid people making a lot of stupid mistakes. Seems to be particularly fond of pointing out the engineering incompetence of the EPA 'engineers' and q.a. 'engineers'. Knows his stuff.
